Chef Romero offers personalized, six-course dinners with optional wine pairings upon request, separate from the regular menu. Chef Elio Romero moved to the United States from El Salvador when he was 17 years old. Since then, he has taken it upon himself to explore and master contemporary American cuisine. He has been the leading culinary influence at Chef's Station since it opened, and is now the owner of the establishment.
Elio's intentionality, his focus on creating balance and his commitment to a holistic dining experience have set him apart from his peers and earned him recognition as one of the most accomplished artists on the North Shore. He has been named a Santé Culinary Professional of the Year, and he continues to make Evanston a fine dining hot spot.
